Thirty Days Of Thankfulness- Day Twenty-Six

We received our first Christmas card for this year in the mail today. It has a white dove on it and says, “May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.” Numbers 6:26 (NLT)  Busy with all of  the things I want to buy for others this Christmas , it made me pause and remember the real reason for the season. Even though I  know what Christmas is really all about, it is so easy to get caught up in the secular traditions. I am glad I was sent a simple and sweet reminder today.
